Expiration DateThe length of time for the expiration date or “best used before” date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Mega-Mag liquid magnesium is a rich, natural source of concentrated magnesium ions with other minerals and trace elements that act as natural co-factors.
Magnesium is essential to over 400 different enzyme reactions and various other body functions. Magnesium ions (charged magnesium atoms) play a key role in nerve conduction, muscle contraction, bone and tooth formation, protein metabolism and are particularly important to heart and circulatory health. Research has shown many American diets to be deficient in magnesium.
Suggested Use
1/4 to 0.8 teaspoon (1 to 4 ml) daily with juice or food to mask the highly concentrated mineral flavor. To top off or fully supplement your diet with magnesium, we recommend starting with 1/4 teaspoon and increasing as needed, ideally spread throughout the day. We also recommend taking Mega-Mag with a large glass of fluid. Excess magnesium may cause a laxative effect.
Other Ingredients
A high magnesium, low sodium concentrate from Utah’s Inland Sea, the Great Salt Lake. Contains no added ingredients.
Allergen Info: contains no known allergens.
Contains over 72 ionic trace minerals from seawater. ConcenTrace is a trade name for concentrated sea minerals from the Great Salt Lake.

Customer reviews about the product:
After using this product for awhile, I read that that the Great Salt Lake (where this is sourced) has one of the highest levels of mercury of any body of water in the world. I then came across a YouTube video by alternative health author John Heinerman showing the actual location where Trace Minerals Research source their products from. It was not a pretty picture – quite shocking actually. The YouTube videos are “Trace Minerals Truth Revealed” and “Trace Minerals Truth Revealed Part II” if you want to have a look. I was very disappointed because I really liked this stuff. It simply isn’t worth it to me to risk ingesting mercury so I have stopped using it.
I am providing this information in my review so that other people can at least be aware that there may be a mercury (and other contaminant) issue here and can do their own research.
Now I take my magnesium chloride in the form of Life Flow Health Magenesium Oil on my skin. Magnesium chloride also helps raise DHEA (if it is low) by applying it to the skin – an added bonus.
I hope you find this information useful.
Mega-Mag is a fast-acting and effective supplement. Taken as directed, it will correct an imbalance quickly. One note: the taste is god-awful. For me, it’s worth it, but others may (understandably) disagree. For them, there are numerous other capsules, tablets and more palatable drink mixes available. I’ll stick with this, but I recommend that everyone find a magnesium supplement they can live with. It’s THAT important.
I believe that nutritional supplements saved my life. I’ve tried a lot of products, and I know what works and what doesn’t. My reviews are honest, straighforward, and based on my experience. Read my other reviews to quickly learn from my three decades of research and experimentation.
However, Magnesium Taurate is the only form of magnesium that can truly keep my anxienty away in the long run.
Tho, this form ofcourse take away/reduce all other common magnesium defiancy problems!
