I have been using this for the last 9 months and was happy with it, mainly because it included nannochloropsis gaditana (marine phytopklankton) which is an expensive superfood. In my last order, I happened to re-read the ingredient list and shockingly, it is no longer included in the formula!! I hope I am wrong about this, but the label has changed and no longer includes this important ingredient! I would very much like to know why?! And if this is true, I am no longer going to buy this product. Plus – I have a sense this is one way a manufacturer tries to increase profits while keeping prices seemingly the same… I hope I am wrong. Oh well…

One friend and I talk about Midori Greens at least once a week. She recently hoarded this product when it was sold at $14.95 on a short-date sale. She bought 5 containers and found that she received non-short dated containers. She’s so caught up in the benefits that she’s received. Here are some of the benefits: Her eye inflammation has healed (she was under a doctors care and had to get injections around her eyes that made her look quite scary; she’s refused the injections, but has not told her doctor why — her secret is Midori greens). Her uterine fibroid has shrunken significantly, and her gallbladder issues have all but disappeared. No other lifestyle practice had been added or changed in her life, but she’s been able to see these significant changes in herself and so has everyone else. All of her improvements make sense according to what I’ve learned studying Chinese medicine. Since recovering from a near stroke 2 years ago, dropping blood pressure to normal, losing 19kg and looking super fit with no fat on me (and I rarely even exercise these days), I am in the habbit of not eating processeed foods and eat mostly super foods (the world most popular top 10) and greens when I can as I dont like many vegetables at all. I have taken a few different super green formulas over the last 2 years and I was extremely disappointed to find that this formula was not only REALLY weak tasting when mixed in the same quantity of water as per my other greens, but saw absolutely no difference except my stomach bacteria condition going backwards slightly. I definately say that using on rotation Ormus supergreens (the best by far) and Paradise Herbs Orac energy greens are by far superior to this formula in my opinion. It is of course each to their own.

I love this stuff – it is top quality, but – at least the jars that were sold as December special do not contain marine phytoplankton anymore (and it was not- and still is not – stated on the webpage). I hate it when companies change the formula without giving proper notice of it(even advertising it as “new improved” -even if “improved” is not always improved – is better than that!) By the way, they did the same with Eureka berries where they removed mangosteen (but at least in that case they updated also the info on iherb page (but not on madrelabs page, though).

I bought this because of the good reviews and Midori Greens certainly delivers. I take a scoop every morning mixed with a little fruit juice and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin coconut oil and it gives me energy for the whole day. Sometimes when I feel tired or on the verge of getting a cold I take a scoop on its own mixed with half a glass of water and I feel better almost immediately. The taste is not bad taken on its own. Taste better than wheat grass which I was taking peviously. Now I switch to Midori Greens because it gives me better energy and is also a Super food.

Great overall product for adding a wide spectrum of high quality greens into your diet. Potent rejuvenating cleanser with great quality materials and nutritional profile and an easy to get used to taste. I ranked it the highest among all similar products and cannot recommend it enough. On top of being a great source of greens, I have noticed another great side effect of taking this product. After I eat dinner if I am craving something sweet, I drink a scoop of this with water and the cravings vanish! I have a horrible sweet tooth, so this is a great thing for me.

Keeps me regular. Has no fillers.

I take this with my Immune Punch every morning and I feel like my body is getting the best nutrition possible. I’m not a huge pill popper, so to be able to mix a couple of spoonfuls of this in my juice every morning is very convenient and really suits my lifestyle. The combination of mixing all the powders creates a super nutrient like drink. Like I said in my other review, if I forget to take any of my other vitamins, I feel good knowing that I covered my bases with this drink.

After taking this Midori for more than three weeks, I have any acne all gone. I think it is the effect of a combination of more vegetable intake and with this Midori. In will continue with this for few more months to see the long term effect. GOOD!

Super ingredients. I asked the company to provide info on oxalates and they quickly had it tested, saying “Each 3 gram serving contains approximately 100mg of Oxalic acid (via HPLC).” The exact number from that lot was 111 mg, but changes with each harvest.

I’m not quite sold on this formula for the money. It has a lot of great things in the formula like Ashitaba which is an expensive herb in Japan, and other greens and phytoplantins. But it says to take one little scoop (3gm only) that comes with the jar, and I just don’t think it’s enough to notice any difference in my health. I think you need more like a tablespoon per day and then the amount for the price is too high compared to other formulas out there.

Wow! Must be some super combination of Popeye’s spinach and/or remnants of Superman’s “good” kryptonite because I feel awesome!

I read the previous reviews but was hesitant because none of them were written this year (2010), but after ordering anyway and trying it for myself for only a week, I can’t help but want to share my success with others and praise it’s capacity to make you feel so good.

BTW, I’m fit, not in any type of medical crisis and it’s done wonders for me after only a week!

If this just contained the Japanese herbs it would be well worth the price. If you do some research on these herbs you will know how powerful they really are. On top of those, you get all the grasses thrown in with some vegetables. This is one great formula. I am an avid juicer, I just add a scoop to one of my vegetable drinks. The taste is fine, but products this good for you should not be bought because of taste anyway. Mix with a juice or smoothie and just know you are getting some of the best nutrition on the planet!

I absolutely am going to buy the bigger container of this. It tasted wonderful by itself, and I couldn’t even notice it when it was in my smoothie. It gave me great, stable energy that lasted and definitely boosted my overall mood. Highly recommended, will buy the bigger version! Thanks Madre Labs – I think its your best product yet!

I can’t usually tolerate other green drink mixes, but this one I can. Goes down great in a smoothie with raw cacao and Mercola Pure Power Protein and Madre Labs Eureka! Berries powder.

I have tremendous sleep apnea and have to take meds to stay awake during the day. I took the Midori Greens along with the Eureka Berries in the AM before going to work and I now do not take my “stay awake” meds. I’m so glad the brochere came in my box for these products. I’ve now added the Immune Punch to my little superfoods “cocktail”. I have recommended this to my friends.

As someone who studies nutritional and medicinal herbs, I can tell you the ingredients in this product are wonderful. And freeze dried for optimal nutrition. Easy to digest.

I’ve taken all types of greens powders…Nanogreens, Vitamineral Greens, SuperGreens, Doctor’s Best, etc. etc. and this is by far the best in my book. It doesn’t add much to your caloric intake (10 kcal vs. 50 for Nanogreens) and it seems to go directly into your system. Vitamineral Greens are good, but gave me horrid gas. This product doesn’t. There is nothing else out there quite like it. Try it! I love all of Madre Labs products.

This is a great blend and the taste is fine, and I got a good energy burst from it, but green tea extract always makes me really agitated. It’s not the product’s fault, I should have known better. I get agitated with any green tea extract product, but the actual tea does not have the same effect on me. Once I stopped the powder I didn’t feel as cranky. But like i said it’s not the products fault, just something I react to, so wanted to write the review in case others have this same sensitivity.

It tastes like green tea, so if you like green tea you will enjoy this one. There is no sugar in this blend, which is great because many green formulas have sugar in them. It is a great way to get your greens.

Gives me lots of energy

I was diagnosed with CFS 6 years ago and have found nothing that really helps me with my low energy level except prescription drugs, which I don’t want to take. I’ve tried so many things, that the Midori Greens were a shot in the dark. I must say that after nearly a month of taking them daily I actually have more energy!! It took almost 2 weeks for any noticeable difference, so don’t quit if you’re not getting instant results. It’s very nice tasting when mixed with a little of your favorite juice. I will definitely reorder.

I am using all the products from Madre Labs and it has made me feel better then I have in years! It’s nearly eliminated inflammation I’ve been dealing with for over 8 years. This company seems to have done their research and come out with quality products. I recommend it to all my friends and family.

I had high expectation on this, but it just gave me terrible bloating and constipation.The taste also is not pleasant at all. I’ll keep continuing using my Amazing Grass green superfoods: they’re defenetely a better product, at least for me

I love green drinks ,wheat grass etc., so I was really happy when I saw this mix at iHerb. It tastes great and gives my body what its missing from my fast food diet!

Tried this and the Madre greens and love them both! Blend them together into some V8 or tomato juice and it’s delicious. I feel the lift from these products too. I’m slowly eliminating so many vitamin pills, capsules, etc. and going with these supplements instead.

Just for the tea, this product is an excellent buy during the introductory offer. Where I live, I cannot buy Japanese match of the quality in this product for this low of a price.

I really love this product, I add this every morning to my shakes. I feel great and energized and no awful taste. I will like to try the immune punch next.

I have lots of food allergies and have always had trouble taking any kind of powered greens. This is the only one I have found where I don’t experience an allergic reaction. I mix the acai heart, the immune punch, and these greens in some juice and it gives me a real energy boost. I eat really well but feel so much better taking these products.

I am really happy with the Greens. I use this along with the Acui Heart Powder and they give me a nice energy lift that lasts all day taken on a daily basis. Sometimes vitamin pills upset my stomach but not the powders. I will buy again…

This product, along with the addition of iodine to my diet, has greatly improved my energy and stamina. I am much more mentally alert and have better physicalstamina. My body says thank you.

I don’t eat enoungh greens or veggies. This is a great sub for that requirement. I don’t have any waste to throw away if a veggie goes bad so, I save money and stay healthy at the same time.

This is a great product. I have used Garden of Life which is terrific also (both give me energy) but comparing the ingredients in the products, I think Madre Labs wins out with a higher concentration of the more beneficial stuff!

I use a scoop of the Eureka! Berries along with a scoop of the Midori Greens in my morning Greek yogurt smoothie. I know my energy and endurance levels have increased. My prayer is that the manufacturer will never quit making these superb products, they are top quality and everyone needs them.I’ve only been taking using these products for about 3 weeks and I believe I can already tell a difference in my skin.

This is an outstanding product filled with incredible nutrients not typically available in common fruits and vegetables. My wife and I have to have our serving every morning and when I want to eat light, it serves as a good meal replacement. I feel energetic and well nourished with each serving, kudos to Madre Labs for providing Midori Greens AND at a reasonable price.

Tastes great, not as bitter as some similar “greens” products. I feel very healthy when drinking it and am sure it’s doing me good. My skin feels and looks better too. Highly recommended!

this is a superior greens blend. After the first couple of days using it, I could feel it working, and I can tell when I haven’t taken any. It helps keep my mind and body cleansed and my energy flowing. I am so happy to have finally found my favorite greens powder! In my opinion, lots of others have too many ingredients which aren’t particularly powerful or synergistic. I think Madre has chosen well just the right grasses, herbs, and vegetables that one buys a green formula for. I am very impressed and happy with Midori Greens.
