I was glad to learn about the importance of this product for people over 50. I don’t expect to see or feel any difference in my immediate health, but because CoEnzymeQ10 is destroyed by the statin drug many people take, this is an important supplement. My only criticism of this brand is that it is not soy-free. It’s amazingly difficult to get soy-free products in spite of the fact that 1 in 10 people should not have any soy in their diets. (see G6PD deficiency).

My husband tried these pills to counter the effects of the statins he has been prescribed for his cholesterol, which left him feeling weak as though his muscles were gradually being stripped of their strength. This ubiquinol gives him just the energy boost he needs and now he simply wouldn’t be without these pills. For those people who are unused to taking medication in a capsule format please be aware that the 100mg formulation is quite large and you may have some difficulty in swallowing them.

Good item, but slightly more expensive than Healthy Origins. Product uses rice bran oil as filler…this is a plus for Doctors Best.
Softgel is also larger than need be. 100mg in a 1000mg softgel.

It does seem to work for energy. I take 450 for now. Might go to 500 to see result. A bit pricey but if it works…..The price is about the same for 50mg tabs which are a lot smaller for those with swallowing difficulties.

I wasn’t sure whether to get this or Co-enzyme Q10. This product, though, has been great. As well as running marathons and ultra-marathons I’m a type 1 diabetic, meaning that peripheral circulation and soft tissue health are of concern to me. While using this I have seen a marked improvement in my gum health and generally felt like circulation at the extremities was improved in the cold. Highly recommended.

Wow, this works! Finally something that’s helping to lower my genetically high triglycerides. It’s expensive but totally worth it. I’ve lowered my triglycerides by about 10 points in 6 months.

I originally ordered the 200mg to start but now have reduced to the 100mg which is suppose to be a better dosage for maintenance.

Although it costs more than ubiquinone CoQ10’s this form delivers more bang for your buck. Don’t expect energy gains if your health is already OK but do consider it if you have had heart problems and /or you take cholesterol lowering medication. A lot of doctors are now suggesting CoQ10 to people on these medications because they block the production of CoQ10 in the liver. If you take statins and are feeling lethargic or experiencing pain between the shoulders, reach for the ubiquinol.

We’ve been using this product for almost 1 month, we want to make sure how is it working, and now I’m happily writing this here to tell everyone this is working so well.

I got this one for my mom, but since this is not the only thing that I “prescribed” for her, it is hard to isolate its effectiveness. In any case she reported to be less jet lagged last time she crossed the Atlantic (she usually dreads this ordeal as the death itself). She upped her intake the week before and the week after the flight. I believe it contributed to better endurance and quicker recuperation.

Best of all, the quality standards are some of the highest.

It’s hard for me to tell which brand is best or if one is working when one is not. All I can say is that as far as I can tell, this brand works well and is easy to take. Like most people, I take it for heart health mostly. I also think perhaps it gives me a bit of energy but I can’t swear to that.

I am taking this supplement for some time, and believe me since then I am filling much better, I stay in good mood the all day, I get much more concentrated, and it improved a lot my phisical exercise endurance. I am sure I will keep taking this supplement forever.

I began using Ubiquinol after suffering a mild cardiac event several years ago. It may have helped with repairing any damage that occurred, but continued use is probably protecting my heart, as I have not suffered another episode since then. We can all use a bit of antioxidant help.

Years ago, my doctor suggested Ubiquinol and I have used it for vein support and antiaging. It is difficult to evaluate, although the absence of symptoms may be all I can report!!!

Package arrived in a reasonable time. Capsules larger than expected, but still able to swallow fairly easily. Unable to judge efficacy. Any results too subtle to judge.

Ubiquinol is a precursor of Co-Enzyme Q10. People whose systems are highly compromised cannot directly utilize the Q10, but the Ubiquinol is able to be absorbed and utilized. Although a bit on the expensive side, it’s worth it because it helps keep the heart and mouth healthy.

I use this product in place of COQ10. It is far superior in strength.

It seemed prudent that I take a form of CoQ10 since I’m on a statin and those can deplete the body’s stores of that nutrient, and this one has all the buzz about being more easily absorbed.

Have been taking COQ 10 for sometime when a friend told me all about the benefits of Ubliquinol which is a higher grade a bit more expensive but well worth it.

My naturopath told me to take the ubiquinol form of CoQ10 and recommended the Kaneka brand. I found this in Doctors Best, which seemed also to have minimal other ingredients. The pills are kind of large so someone may have trouble swallowing them. After my first week or so of taking them I noticed a boost in energy. That has leveled off in the time since, but I guess that means my body needed it.

I started C0Q10 years ago for heart palpitations that were so bothersome that I would have trouble getting to sleep. Then I heard that Ubiquinol was better absorbed so switched to that. I’ve used the Doctor’s Best brand for probably 3 or 4 years now and really like it. At the lower dose I take one in the AM and one before bed because by evening it has worn off and the palpitations come back. Will keep taking this probably all my life.

Note – I’ve had my stress test and all is OK there, so I’m not taking this in place of having my heart checked out.

I have been on simvastatine for 4 years and it made me miserable, my muscles feel tired and painful. I lost my energy and felt old. Ubiquinol helped alot and i feel perfect now. No more pain and more energy. take 200mg aday if you are on cholestrol medications.

I’ve been reading about Ubiquinol and am convinced that it’s in my best interest to take it. I won’t say I feel anything in particular, except that I’m no longer “aware” of my heart. I often buy Life Extension products or Jarrow, but when I can’t afford a product, I go to Doctor’s Best, the third brand I trust.

I take this religiously knowing it is good for me. Can’t say I physically notice any difference while taking it though.

Seems like a quality product but too early to tell if it is having the desired effects on my health.
