I have poor digestion due to Crohn’s and this product along with Primal Defense and FYI keep me symptom free. Omega zyme quickly helps digest food. I can actually feel it working since my digestion can sometimes be slow. Great product.
I take this along with Garden of Life’s Primal Defense Ultra. I take the Primal Defense on an empty stomach and the Omega-Zyme with meals. I’ve noticed that I’m a lot less bloated and digestion has become easier for me. When I don’t take Omega-Zyme with my meals, whether it’s another brand of enzyme or no enzyme at all, I notice that my digestive system can be sluggish like before. I really count on this product to help me make it through the day with no digestive problems.
No more bloating, upset stomach, and no more gas. I can even eat ice cream for the first time in my life. This is a great product at a great price.
I have rosacea and it is very sensitive to what I eat. I take these and notice a big difference. I take extra when I am having a more “bad face” meal (more sugar, wheat, unhealthy) and it helps to keep it from flaring up too badly. Works very well for helping digest gassy foods and dairy products (I’m lactose intolerant)
When I first tried it, I took 1 capsule per meal. But it end up, me having constipation plus some gas. I tried 2 capsule, it still have the same effect.
On my second bottle, I tried using only half a capsule per meal. After more than two weeks of trying, I found that digestion was good and passing motion was great. No more constipation. Now, I stick to use half a capsule per meal.
I have tried different enzymes and the less expensive ones seem to work just as well as the more expensive ones. I do not like these at all. They caused a lot of bloating and gas. I will reluctantly finish off the bottle and hope they are doing something good along with the discomfort.
You may think that paying $35 or so a bottle of 90 caps is a lot and it would see so if you compare it to other brands that are half price for the same number of caps, BUT DON”T BE FULLED, YOU WILL ONLY NEED 1 CAP FROM GARDEN OF LIFE’S O-ZYME for the whole meal, instead of 3-5 from other brands. Even one cap works so well to assist with digestion, you’ll rarely need more, and that will SAVE YOU MONEY for sure. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
Wonderful product that has changed my life as a person with IBS. This product has enabled me to be so much more comfortable with meals and also works just to settle even an empty stomach that feels bloated or gassy. Highly recommend.
seems to be very potent for people with digestive disorder. 2 caps before meals seems to be enough and effective. I would love to see a new formulation without magnesium stearate.
I eat a mostly high raw food diet (only fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds with nothing heated above 118 degrees). The enzymes in these foods are in tact. On the occasions that I do eat cooked foods (whose enzymes are depleted by the cooking process), I take 2 capsules of the Enzyme Blend. The food digests easier and more quickly and with less digestive upset. It keeps me from getting that “brick in the stomach” feeling. 3 caps for me was a bit harsh – lots of gas and some cramping. 2 caps works just right for me. I also feel that I’m helping my body to retain more of its own stores of enzymes by supplementing with this product. I will definitely be purchasing this again! And of course, you just cannot beat iHerb’s prices and service!!
I have suffered gall bladder discomfort for several years, I started taking a regular enzyme and this stopped. I realised the importance of enzymes, I think my poor nutrient absorption is largely to do with weak acidity and enzyme excretion by the body and lack of enzyme intake from food sources. I take one capsule per meal, perhaps two caps with heavier or more high fat meals. I find it is not necessary for me to take 2x caps to be over zealous, actually leaves me feeling a little uncomfortable. I like how this is full spectrum, although it lacks Lipase II enzyme which I have seen in Doctor’s Best. Price wise, this seems to cost more, but if you buy any other multi enzyme, for the quantity of units and variants of enzyme, it costs pretty much the same if you compare. I would not go for a cheaper brand as I require at least 2-3 caps of those supplements per meal, and in the end it costs more.

I’ve been using these for a while and it seems (for me) that the more I use them the more effective they are… Used to have miserable heartburn before I started taking them consistently… A great, natural way to ease the pains that regular foods can cause.
I have a complicated digestive issue. I can’t digest anything basically. I have tried eating yogurt, medicines, anti-acids, and many other things. Nothing has helped me to eat normally until this product and it’s partner: Primal Defense Ultra ultimate Probiotic Formula came along. Now I can eat dairy a couple of times a week, and even ocasionally have some protien without severe pain. No surprise, nature trumphs western medicine again.

These enzyme caps work well in helping to digest food. They especially help me with pork.

I didn’t find this to be any better than other brands of digestive enzymes that are far less expensive so I wouldn’t give this more than three stars.
I am very disappointed with this product. It doesn’t work as well as other brands, which cost half the price of this. Even when I take three capsules, I still get gas. I eat a lot of beans, and this product is just not doing the job in helping me digest them. It’s unfortunate, because I had high hopes for Garden of Life enzymes.
I have decided to go back to a product I used to use, where I only had to take two capsules per meal, and they worked better than this.
I won’t be buying these again, they made my stomach feel unsettled.
This is a good all-around broad spectrum enzyme. You have to make sure to get enzymes that work in varying PH’s….and Q-Zyme fits the bill. I was taking too many at first, since I was used to the cheaper brands with less enzyme activity per pill. Now I see that I can get by easily with just one pill per meal.
I like this product for the same reason as the Paradise Herbs’ products. And, for it includes a good distribution of enzymes as well as some digestive-friendly herbs.

Good support for digestive system. Whenever I have a full meal, I take one to help my digestion. Friends or family members after taking a heavy meal, I always give them the Ultra Digestive Enzyme Blend to help with the digestion and it always help. Even children, I gave 1/2 the capsule.
This product was a differemt color and smelled different from when I purchase it at whole foods
I am new to this supplement and began taking it about 2 weeks ago….what a difference it has made in my life! I am eating lots of veggies and wow, no bloating, gas, indigestion or any of those things normally associated with certain veggies. A bit pricey but worth it!

I have tried so many things over the years (I’m in my 40’s) to battle my fatigue, complexion, mood and digestive issues was even thinking I have IBS. I tried this product after quite a bit of research. My skin is clearer than ever in my life, after about a month of use. I have more motivation than I can ever recall in my life as well. My mood seems to be pretty stable, although I believe hormones are a factor there, not digestion alone. I lack numerous digestive enzymes and this has them all covered. Look at your stool and you will see prove this works. If you don’t know what it should look like, look it up!! I take my vitamins with my meals so that I know they are being digested properly, too. And am actually taking fewer supplements but feeling better! I love this product and I hope I can afford to take it for the rest of my life!!!

I can finally eat gelato again!!!! I used to have regular stomach cramps, diarrohea and at times so bloated you’d think I was pregnant. Not anymore. Still have to watch my diet, but this product has made my life so much more simple
These are the only digestive enzymes that I can certainly say that they WORK. I suffer from candida/leaky gut and need a pretty heavy duty digestive enzyme and this is the only product that I can feel working. High on the price range but totally worth it!!

I have noticed that when taking this product, the time it takes my stomach to go empty after eating a meal drops around 40 %, which is good, because at recent years that time has increased to some 8 hours (age related; I’m close to 50).

I’ve tried many different digestive enzymes and this one is my favourite. Many other varieties of enzymes contain other irritants to the gut such as dairy, gluten or sweeteners that contain FODMAPS.
This one is a great blend with none of the irritants and extra goodness!
I have only been taking the Ultimate Digestive Enzyme Blend for a few weeks but alrady I have noticed that I am not as tired as I had previously been. So I can only surmise that they are doing the job and they’re allowing more of the nutrition in my diet to be absorbed by the body. It will be interesting to see how much difference they make long term.
