I have acne prone skin and have had stubborn blackheads on my nose for over a decade. I bought this clay after hearing about bentonite’s detoxing properties and its ability to pull dirt and oil out of the skin.

I recieved my package and mixed two teaspoons of the mask with one teaspoon of organic ACV and two teaspoons of aloe vera gel. This made enough to cake a very, very thick layer on my face. It took a long time to dry- well over an hour. As the mask dried, I felt slowly it tightening and my skin, especially the skin of my nose, was noticeably pulsing. Very strange feeling! The tightening/pulsing was uncomfortable to endure for so long, but it was not untolerable.

The mask was pretty difficult to wipe off of my face, even after trying to soften it by laying a hot towel over my face. It probably took 30 minutes clean my face.

Once the mask was off, the first thing I looked at was my nose and I was ecstatic! Some of the blackheads are gone completely and the others have lightened considerablyI

This is after years of (unsuccessfully) trying every product for blackheads out there from Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Masque to those dreadful Biore pore strips.

The second thing I noticed was that the size of my pores were reduced!

So awesome! And this is only after one use. I can’t wait to see what my skin will look like after a month of use!

I first saw this on youtube and a young lady had a positive review on it. Then i went and searched more about this clay on youtube and saw several other reviewers. What I notIced was that they really had flawless skin. So anyways i bought this product and it came in three days. I got a glass bowl and mixed evil amounts of this clay and vinegar. When i applied the mixture on my face i did notice just very little pulsating but it tightened my skin more. When i washed it off my skin was pretty red and it feltmvery soft. However my pimples were still the same size. However after an hour of washing it off, i noticed that the pimples had reduced in size. The next day the pimples were gone or barely even noticeable. I was soo shocked, and i didnt know something so natural could work for me soo well. I apply it twice a week and i should say that it is a bit time consuming and it is messy. i use it twice a week. I realized that my skin has really few breakouts then it did before. I still get a pimple or two but it is not as bad as I was getting before i used the clay. This is also very slowly helping with my hyperpigmentation from acne. I realized thst this clay really helped improve my skin and my confidence. I wish i knew about this product before, because i wasted so much money on acne medications such as epiduo, adaplane, tretinoin, tazorac, benozyl peroxide, ziana, clearasil, etc. I wish this product was adveritzed more, because it really does have miracles.i havemild acne btw and it is hormonal. I also notioced that there is a part of my cheeks that I usually break out the most, and after I started using this clay the area of my cheek stopped breaking out in that area. I have never been soo content with my skin ever before. This clay which is soo affordable has changed my life so much, and I am so thankful that i found this. If you are debating on buying this product i hghly recommend that u do because ir really helps the skin good luck!

One jar will last months if used just on the face, but in this price and with these postages I recommend to order a couple at least, just to be on the safe side

I mixed the clay with apple cider vinegar, left it on for 10-15 minutes, and took it off in the shower. It was pretty easy to get the clay off.
The clay turned my face into a statue when it was on, and I could feel some of the pulling sensation. After I took it off my face was super smooth, it got rid of a lot of dead skin, and my face/acne looked better the next day

I rarely, and I mean rarely, leave reviews for products. This stuff is a miracle. I have embarrassingly large pores, especially in the nose area. I thought that they would be there forever and I would just deal with it. I bought this product solely on a review of another large pore sufferer, and they were right. I’ve used this product two times and my pores are minimal. MINIMAL. It’s insane. I sit and stare at my face and have danced around in joy of my new luscious face. It’s a tad drying, but I don’t even care if my face is going to look this heavenly. Worth every penny, and iherb always ships fast. Thank you!

I bought this clay after reading page after page of positive reviews, and I must say I agree with every one of them! This clay is amazing, and it comes with so much in the package I won’t have to buy it again for a very long time! I used it with "Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother" by Dynamic Health which I also purchased at iherb.com for a really cheap price. The container says to mix it with equal parts ACV and clay, but I found that to be a little too runny, so I added some more clay. I would say the perfect amount for one mask to cover your entire face and neck would be 1 tablespoon clay with a little less then 1 tablespoon ACV. The clay was more brown in color then I expected, but that’s probably because I’m used to using QHMJM. When I mixed the clay with the ACV it fizzed for a few seconds, then turned into a nice smooth textured mask. I put it on my entire face and my neck and left it on for about 40 minutes. I turned the fan on in my room while it was drying for some extra air flow. The mask began to harden right away, and began to feel tight after about 20 minutes. It got a little itchy in spots, but nothing uncomfortable. After 40 minutes the mask was dry and very very tight. To remove the mask, I got a warm washcloth and dapped my face all over, and let the water soak into it for a few seconds. This got the mask wet again, and it wiped off very easily. I was honestly amazed with the results after just one use! My skin appeared so clear, and the few pimples I had were already gone! My skin was patchy red after using it, but that went away after about 30 minutes. I honestly love this, and am so glad I bought it! I’m going to start using it once a week, and I can’t wait to see the long term results of repeated use!! I would recommend using your favorite moisturizer after you wash it off. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

I was suffering from stubborn mild acne and as suggested, I bought this with apple cider vinegar. Mixed 3T clay with 3T apple cider vinegar. The first thing I noticed was the clay fizzing in the glass as the clay and vinegar were mixing. Had an ample quantity to do my full face, neck, chest and shoulders. Left the clay on for half an hour and must say this is the tightest clay mask I’ve ever used and an interesting pulsating feeling on my face and nose as it was drying!
Took some time to wash the hard dry clay off but was pleasantly surprised that the stubborn acne had gone totally after half an hour! Wicked. I think I might to dontate all other masks I’ve got lying around to friends and sticking with this one.

My combination/oily face skin loveeeeeeeeeeee this mask. Very effective and deeply cleansed my face. It works better than my previous Kiehl’s Deep Pore Rare Earth mask and CHEAPER!!!! I mix this with Bragg’s ACV and have excellent results. After reading many reviews, i don’t mix it with water. I follow exactly the instructions as on the mask container. I saw a lot of reviews on the mask and I was convinced that it is a very good product! I am usually oily with acne prone skin. Maybe due to the change in weather and or medication that my skin became dry/combination. But I bought it anyway and was amazed by the results! The current pimples on my face got smaller the next say and it helped decrease the amount of pimples I would get (aside from the monthly cystic pimples on my chin but it did decrease in size too!). I used it with equal parts of organic, undistilled ACV. If it was too thick and not spreadable on the face, I would just add water. Then I apply 100% jojoba oil on my face after cause it can be a bit drying. Hope This helps!!

I stumbled upon this item on iherb and decided to give it a shot since everyone’s raving about this clay mask.

After just 1 try, I am a convert. Though a little messy, this item is pretty easy to use, just add water until u can spread the mask on ur face. After 10 minutes, feel the tightening sensation… I towel off after 20mins – My complexion looks clearer.. and pores smaller! Now, my friend’s are trying this too.

Bonus: easy to bring along for travels

This clay is just amazing and has done wonders for my skin. Whenever I’m breaking out, even if it’s from hormonal acne, this baby just makes it better and pulls all the dirt out from my skin! You really feel it pulsate, and even though it’s quite a weird feeling it’s a weirdly pleasant feeling. Also, one of the things I love is that even if apple cider vinegar is the best to mix this with you can still mix this powder clay with other stuff that fits your skin – for an example milk, water, honey etc.

Easy to drink in water,hard to day about results yet…

I was excited to give this a try after all the rave reviews but after several attempts I found that this mask was causing me to breakout. And the breakouts weren’t just whiteheads, which could be related to cleansing of the skin and “bringing out the bad” but instead I got big cystic pimples, that were painful. I think this was too harsh for my skin and would not recommend this to anyone who has acne prone or sensitive skin, it’s too harsh.

Very cheap, works like a charm! My weekly facial. This 1lb tub will last me ages.

This stuff works awesome for getting rid of acne! It helps to draw out the toxins deep in your skin. It will help to get rid of acne the first time you apple it. Very good stuff!!!

I’ve been using this product for my acne for about 3 yrs. You can actually feel it pulling toxins and dirt out of your skin. This is a bentonite clay product. If your like me and have a hard time keeping your skin clear, this goes great when partnered with ‘Great Plains bentonite clay detox’.

I have been going to dermatologists to get really pricey facials to get rid of the junk in my pores before using this.

Great for face masks.

I have had hormonal acne since I turned 30, that was 4 years ago. Never having suffered severe break-outs, it was depressing. This is not an over-reaction as most people with long suffering cases of acne will tell you.
The pustules were big, red and had no head, my face was dry not oily, so needless to say it was problematic because common acne medications and creams were formulated for oily skin. I tried everything, spent a lot of money on expensive cream brands, injections, medications.

This was the only solution that cleared my cystic acne, along with taking femaprin. I used this everyday, the 1 lb jar lasted for 2 months. Mix this well with equal parts apple cider vinegar and let it dry for at least 40 minutes. The redness goes away, then apply your moisturizer if you feel dried out.

Do yourself a favor and try this.

I mixed this in accordance to the directions and when I took the mask off, my neck, forehead and left half of my nose were a bright, sunburned red. As far as deep cleansing goes, there is no noticeable difference. There are much better masks out there.

I’m using this wonderful clay both inside and out. I drink it mixed with water, to get great minerals in my body (such as magnesium) and I use it as a mask to get a radiant skin. Both works very well, and I will reorder this time and time again

It is good but a much better clay is the Redmond clay. The Redmond clay costs a little more but the quality is much better. If you don`t have the money to pay for a better quality clay then this one is good.

It’s a nice clay. I use it for face mask and it does the job. I like it very much, I’ve had a lot of different green clays but I do prefer the packaging of this one. It is also very affordable. I’ll repurchase when I run out of it.

I really like the bentonite clay – it is great for deep cleansing of skin or hair (usually using it for skin). And I tend to use it also for bathing – just adding some clay to water (with neem powder, milk, honey and some oil) and my skin feels so refreshed! I love this huge package – the price is great. Unfortunately it uses to be out of stock often…

Best clay mask I have ever used. Draws out my impurities and leave my skin smooth and feeling clean. However when it drys, the mask can get really hard and painful on the face. But they say, no pain no gain right?

Love this product! I mix it with apple cider vinegar, leaves my skin a bit red afterwards, so don’t use it just before a night out, but once that settles, your skin feels smooth, tight and fabulous

I used to live in a very humid area and this baby keeps my overly oily skin at bay!
I mix a tbsp of powder with organic apple cider vinegar and just keep it in there until I feel my face pulsate then wash it with lukewarm water. Your face will look red and quite sensitive right after but don’t be alarmed cause this is normal. I recommend using ice to relieve the redness. The pulsating feeling is like a rush of blood circulation going to your face! You’ll be amazed how soft, smooth and oil free your face is the next few days.

It does tighten the pores, but u have to use it constantly. and better to be used w Apple vinegar !

There’s almost no smell. Only if I stick my nose in the jar I can smell the earthy clay. It’s really hard to mix smoothly. When it dries it looks like you have scales (like a fish). Doesn’t tingle but my skin is bright red afterwards. I can’t see any changes in my skin.

At first I wasn’t overly impressed with this clay mask but that was because I was initially only mixing it with water. I found that with water it was terribly difficult to mix, becoming lumpy and there was no pulsating feeling as noted in the instructions. It slightly dried out some existing blemishes but nothing miraculous. After obtaining some great results with taking apple cider vinegar and using a ACV toner, I revisited the mask and mixed the clay with ACV. The first difference was how well it mixed, absolutely no lumps and it formed a smooth, almost mousse like texture. Super easy to apply and while drying I felt the warmth and pulsating effect that I’d been chasing. After washing the skin is left temporarily red but only ever so slightly. The skin was smooth, even toned and pores appeared smaller but my skin was left quite dry so depending on your skin type, you may have to follow with a quality moisturiser. I find that it helps existing blemishes clear quicker and prevents new blemishes from appearing. When my skin is a little drier than usual but still needs a deep clean, I mix the clay with organic rosewater and or a small amount of oil like Rosehip or Argan and find that this works wonderfully. Recently, after spending far too long in the sun, my face was sunburnt and began to peel. My pores were congested especially on my nose but I didn’t want to use any harsh or irritating products. I applied the clay mixed with a drop of organic rosehip oil and a couple of sprays of rosewater and applied to the applicable areas. After removing, my skin felt thoroughly cleansed however, it wasn’t left dry or parched. I must admit that I do prefer to use Auromere’s, Rejuvenating Mud Bath & Mask as it mixes well with any medium and deep cleans without drying out the skin.

Have only used this on our faces. It works best mixed with vinegar. My husband and I both used it a few times on our faces and honestly did not notice any difference. I know it has many other uses and it’s good to have on hand, just in case. We have never used bentonite clay before so can’t compare it to any other.

I have very acne prone skin. i get large pustules that take days to reach the surface. Im not entirely sure this works. I combine this apple cider vinegar for a mask. This is very difficult to get off once it is dry. When i use a yogurt mask, the yogurt mask makes my skin feel like oil has been pulled out and inflammation has decreased. With this bentonite clay mask, i feel like it does half the job of the yogurt mask.

I bought it after seeing 99% positive reviews for this product all over the internet but for me it has been of no use. People said there pores shrinked, pimples shrinked, scars started fading whereas for me nothing of any of that happened.

For me it was a waste of money.
I think it is because of the weather in india too. But whatever the case maybe, it proved to be useless for me.

Still giving it 2 stars because it somewhat reduced my blackheads a bit and takes off the oil off my face.

But still nothing special, just a usual clay mask.

This clay really makes your face feel smooth and clean. I was expecting more from it though as far as working faster with the clearing of the blackheads. I heard other people talking about this product and how they can feel the toxins actually leaving their face, that is not true. Although, I have used several pore cleanser and I would much rather say that I think this one is the best and far more natural than any other product that I have used. I will continue to use this product.
