Hyaluronic acid is best taken on empty stomach. But gastric pain started to develop after the 3rd day. I stopped and started again, taking only once or twice a week. That bottle dragged on for a long time. I have since moved on to other brands like NOW and NeoCell Collagen with no gastric irritation and fantastic face-firming result.

I took this supplement to help me with fine lines on my face, and although I took all the bottle I didn’t see any improvement. Later while searching I found out that “If you take hyaluronic acid as a supplement, your stomach acid would simply destroy it”. So I switched to topical hyaluronic acid. Nature’s Way Hydraplenish is amazing and very much hydrating!

my skin is more moisturised without feeling greasy

I bought this stuff for my skin. I don’t have joint problems other than general creakiness from being 41. I didn’t think it would work but the multiple reviews claiming otherwise convince me to try it. After about 2 weeks, that fast, I noticed my skin looks dewier and my laugh lines (always had them and now they are quite deep) have subsided greatly. My friend who was trying to convice me to try juvederm injections noticed the difference. I only take 1 a day after reading on the internet that a high dosage isn’t really needed.

After taking for 30 days for arthritis in my hands all pain was gone and 100% use of my hands returned.

I’ve been taking this with silica for general health. For the past year I have noticed the lines around my mouth deepening (I’m 27) and after only 2 weeks they’re back to how they were when I was a teenager. I think the fine lines that were developing under my eyes have gone also and my skin has a nicer glow (sadly I still get my monthly zit on my chin). I would recommend this for anyone of any age who is interested in maintaining youthful skin.

I am usually a doubter about things, but I had broken my foot months ago and had ongoing pain. I had a torn meniscus (comfirmed by MRI), and I took the capsules for two months, while taking it easy and wearing comfy shoes. Although the doc recommended surgery, I did not get one after using the capsules, and after a year, I’m fine (only took the pills for 2 months, because I was already feeling better by then!!)!! It’s almost a miracle (-: Also, after just a few days, I could tell that my knees were moisturized from within!! AND: I did sleep really well while taking them (I would take them at night). I have bought quite a few to give as gifts to those around me with joint problems.

Doctors best cleared up my left sholder joint about to the point that it is 90% usable. I think it was very good for Bursitis. Arthritis in the lower back I had to take Flex Comfort from Bio-Tech Labortories.

The hyaluronic acid along with glucosamine/chondroitin and MSM has really helped my bad right knee. A few years ago, I had to take steps one-at-a-time. I couldn’t do knee bends or squat. Today, I take steps normally and I can squat with my knees in a deep bend. Remarkable! The hyaluronic acid seemed to add to the beneficial effects and my skin feels better too. I would recommend adding this to the glucosamine/chondroitin if you are already taking it for joint problems.

This product made my joints ache but then I have a very compromised immune system, so I wasn’t surprised. My son also takes it and he told me that it is helping him. He is a butcher and the same movement over and over again on a daily basis has made his elbow painful. Glad to find something that not only helps the pain but will do some repairing in the joint.

I had to discontinue use of this product after 2 weeks of use due to abdominal cramping. Did not notice any results from it.

I tried this brand and the NOW brand and out of the two, NOW gives noticeable results. Joint relief and kick butt skin (plumper, softer.. everything you want skin to be) and yes, the famous lip plumping as well which varies from person to person. All of this almost immediately.. weird. Doctor’s best, for me, was not effective at all. Joint pain was slightly less, but nothing to write home (or here) about. Everyone will see different results though, so if you try this brand or any other, make sure you switch brands before giving up if it doesn’t work out.

I have been taking this product for about 8 months especially for my knees. I am a bicyclist and arthritis has caused a great deal of knee pain making riding difficult. This product has obviously built up the cartilage that the doctors said could never be re-generated. It has worked wonders for me and I plan to keep taking it for a LONG time. BTW, I’m 70 years old.

I take the hyaluronic acid for joint relief. It helps with the carpal tunnel and with TMJ pain. I recommend this product.

I’ve had knee pain going up and down stairs for about 4 years now. Days after playing basketball it was REALLY bad – it made me walk funny. I’ve been looking for a solution that wasn’t just a pain reliever. I wanted something to actually work on repairing my joints. I tried this after reading about H.A. over the past three months. I wish I’d tried it sooner. THREE DAYS into it’s use, my knees were feeling so good it would shock me in the morning when I walked down the stairs. I have a little baby and if she cried in the night before, I HATED to take her downstairs due to the knee pain. Now when I get up with her I’ll take that first step down the stairs, ready for the pain, and then think “Oh YEAH! It doesn’t hurt anymore! Got this for my girlfriend who cares about her skin. She had comments from her friend recently saying her skin looks much better (it is normally very good, so this is a further improvement).

It’s been five years since my Bursa and Cartilage were removed from my right shoulder and the next step the Dr. said would be "replacement"! I take 4 capsules Hyaluronic Acid per day and have more mobility than the Dr. expected and little pain. I had occasion to be without it for four days and what a difference! I stock up and plan to never need the surgery!

I am 70 and have had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome since age 38 thus have been unable to walk more than a city block since 1999. I had been taking glucosamine,chondroitin,MSN tablets since 2000.With my knees and hips getting worse I switched to softgels about three months ago. BIG MISTAKE. Within 2 weeks my joints were so loose as to constantly become misalligned with terrible pain. After about a month I read about hyaluronic acid. I bought this product and another brand. The pain lessened within a few days. Almost total relief occurred about a week after I started to wear knee supports to let my sockets fill in properly. At this point I can not state that Drs.Best is superior to some other brand. I can only say that hyaluranic acid is great.

So I’m gonna be 30 in 2 weeks and my skin isn’t taking it too well. Years of smoking doesn’t help, I suppose. But I’ve been taking this supplement for a week (along with “schizandra”, which you can get on iherb, too) and yes, I can see a difference. I have been taking methotrexate and hydrochloroquine for psoriatic arthritis. I have pain and swelling in my right hand, ankle and foot, as well as psoriasis on my scalp. I have been sufferning with the side-effects from the prescription medications of headaches, nausea and fatigue, without complete releif of my symptoms. I decided that rather than take the next step and try higher doses, or stronger medication, I would cease taking prescription medications and try Doctor’s Best Hyaluronic Acid with Chondroitin Sulfate, based on the positive reveiws it has received.
I have been taking it for a month now, with no other medication, and I do not have any pain in my hand or ankle. I have some pain in my foot, and no releif of my psoriasis. But this is exactly the same as the prescription medication. I am completely side-effect free! Which makes it well worth it!

Before I tried this product, my doctor was discussing with me the need of knee replacement surgery due to the significant arthritis damage and pain. Obviously I was very concern since I am only in my early 40s and I still enjoying playing baseball (not to be confused with softball). I decided to try this product since its components are very similar to the shot medication I was taking (annually) in my knees to restore some of the lost membrane between my joints due to arthritis. After just 3 days taking this medication, the pain was mostly gone and I am almost pain free. I have only being taking the product for a month, but I can already see the miracle in the amount of free pain movement on my knees. I am not sure why doctors are unfamiliar with this product and don’t recommend it as an option to arthritis relief.

Wow, I’m quiet amazed that this product really does work. I’ve been taking 2 capsules a day for about 2 weeks now and the pain that I used to have in my knees are gone. My left knee feels 100 percent better and my right knee is about 90% better at this point in time so I will continue to take this product. (I will say that my knees have been hurting me since just before Christmas and I cannot tell you why – I am a mom of 4 however, my three youngest are 3, 2 and 1 and when I would get up from the floor I would have to get up incredibly slow and just forget about trying to sit “indian style” my knees would just sound as if they were “ripping” – really bizaar!). I am on the backside of 30 and I will let you know that I am in pretty good shape (120 lbs). So I can say that it is not a pain that one might get from being overweight. If any of my friends or family said that they were thinking about buying Hyaluronic Acid I would tell them to BUY SOME NOW!

After 4 weeks of 2 capsules per day, severe (keep you awake from the pain at night level) pain in my left shoulder, and both knees (when walking up stairs) is almost completely gone! I had tried glucosamine with zero results. Pain meds didn’t hardly touch the shoulder pain. I don’t understand how it works but it does. I hope you get the same results. I’m going to try and learn more about this stuff and meanwhile keep taking it.

Taking this to help my joints, ankle and knee, recover from a broken bone that required surgery. My joints are doing well but my face is doing great. My fingertips also look better. They use to shrivel up at bit at night no matter how much water I drank during the day. Now they are plump and firm – amazing.

ordered this product after the rave reviews but was a bit skeptical. but wow! im in my late twenties and was worried about aging but my skin seems so plumped and glowing! seems this is great preventative care. Also, my brother takes it for his knee injuries and it’s working!

This product from iherb is the best source of hyluronic acid for the money. Shop to compare and you will see what I mean. In my 50’s, I have used hyaluronic acid for 6 years to stave off the brek down of collagen and stay limber. I still feel like 35. It works.

Usually vitamins and supplements take a few months to work but I can tell you that this product has made a DRAMATIC difference to my skin and I’ve only been taking it for 2 weeks. I am 42 and I have not been kind to my skin due to sun damage and harsh products used on my face for adult acne. I am simply amazed at how moist my skin feels but it’s not oily or greasy. I will definitely keep up with this product. I’ll let you know when it starts to help my joints which is the initiial reason I ordered the product.

I’m updating my review, previouly I gave this product 5 stars because it’s really good. But now after it raised my blood pressure I can’t take it anymore. I don’t know why it does increase my blood pressure, but it does.

Used in combination with neocell super collagen, this combo did not feel good. I started to get anxiety, and also my mother started to get pains in her arm like a precursor to a heart attack, it scared her, so she stopped taking it and the symptoms went away. She doesn’t have a great heart to begin with, so if you have any heart issues at all, i would not recommend taking this, well at least this combination.

Seems to increase blood pressure. Just listen to your body when taking any supplements!

Like the product. The swelling in my hands have subsided with the use of the product.

I am 58 y.o and had have osteoarthritis pain on my knees. I also have very visible eye bags. Have been taking glucosamine/chondroitin which fixes my knee problem and resumed my active lifestyle. With all the rave reviews of this product I thought it would not only further add to my existing glucosamine/chondroitin remedy but fixes my eye bags too. Unfortunately after taking 1-a-day for 2 weeks, I saw no difference to my eye bags nor anything to my skin. And strangely I developed a skin abscess on my butt! So I stopped taking it and my butt normalised itself in a few days. Of course to prove the cause effect of the product on my butt or skin, I should repeat the process but am not too bothered for now…

It did the opposite for my wife instead of getting rid of joint pain it made it worst. It also gave her restless leg,insomnia and headaches. She is getting back on Solgar Vegetal silica it is the only product that helped her.

This negative review is because of the egregious nature of the problem. And the problem is capsule count was shorted by a considerable amount.

The label on this bottle of hyaluronic acid (with chondroitin sulfate) says it contains 60 capsules. The marketing page here at iHerb says the same thing.

BUT the bottle that we received — with “safety packaging” all sealed up and intact — only contained 45 capsules.

That is 25% less product that the bottle was supposed to contain. 25% is a LOT, that’s a big difference. Mfr cannot say this was just a “counting error.”

Chronic knee pain disappeared within a few days; amazing!!!

after 2 bottles of this i had to buy NOW’s hyaluronic acid with msm because this was unavailable. i could tell the difference in my skin within a couple of weeks, it wasn’t as good as the doctor’s best. within a week of taking it intially i could see better hydration and fewer fine lines on my face. also less stiffness of the knees in the morning.i will continue to take this.
